Check it out! At least they are on the right page about getting out of our shoes and staying on our feet! However, they are only part way there.

Here is a quote from the article by Adam Sternbergh:

“The study examined 180 modern humans from three different population groups (Sotho, Zulu, and European), comparing their feet to one another’s, as well as to the feet of 2,000-year-old skeletons. The researchers concluded that, prior to the invention of shoes, people had healthier feet. Among the modern subjects, the Zulu population, which often goes barefoot, had the healthiest feet while the Europeans—i.e., the habitual shoe-wearers—had the unhealthiest. One of the lead researchers, Dr. Bernhard Zipfel, when commenting on his findings, lamented that the American Podiatric Medical Association does not “actively encourage outdoor barefoot walking for healthy individuals. This flies in the face of the increasing scientific evidence, including our study, that most of the commercially available footwear is not good for the feet.”

Check it out…This is interesting article about cell phones and the electromagnetic signals they emit. What is truly insightful about it is the following:

We already ground electrical appliances and machines because we know that grounded electricity is safer, runs cleaner and clearer.

The body is electrical…no process in our body is not tied into electricity (an EKG or an EEG measures electrical activity in the body). So if human beings are electrical then where is our ground? The Earth is our ground. This is one of the reasons why it is so important to ground the human body by making either bare skin contact with the Earth or by using the Barefoot Connections products.
